COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update
Everyone’s wellbeing continues to be our priority and so we have implemented some measures in accordance with current mandates and guidelines including:
- All staff, volunteers and anyone who comes into the office (excluding clients) must be fully vaccinated
- Masks must be worn while in the office
- Social distancing is maintained where possible
We have also reviewed the COVID guidelines and risk assessments released last by SA Health, in relation to the reopening of borders on the 23rd November 2021, and considered the possible risk of COVID in the community.
As such, it was with great sadness that our group programs and the Early Intervention Oncology Playgroup were cancelled for the remainder of the year. This decision was not made lightly. It was made to try to reduce the possible risk to the families we support, Staff and Volunteers, and to also ensure our services are able to continue.
We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment that this has caused to families, and we thank you all for your continued understanding.
We will continue to monitor the situation and follow all guidelines from SA Health and the Women’s and Children’s Health Network and will provide you with updates as changes occur.
If you have any questions or concerns about any of this, please don’t hesitate to contact the Family Service team on 8239 2211.
