Messages of Support

Messages of Support 800x550

Have you or your family been supported by the Childhood Cancer Association (CCA) over the past 40 years? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

This year at our Gold Ribbon Gala, we will be recognising our 40-year anniversary, so we’d love to share with our guests all the ways CCA has made an impact over the years.

We will do this by displaying Messages of Support on the big screen at our Gala event.

What we need from you…

Please tell us, in 100 words or less, how CCA helped your family cope with a childhood cancer diagnosis.

To help, consider answering one of these questions:

  • What did/does it mean to you to have the support of CCA?
  • How do you describe to others the support you received from CCA?
  • What is the one moment for you, when you thought, thank goodness I have or my family has the support of CCA?
  • What would it mean to families if CCA didn’t exist?
  • What would you like others to know about CCA?

We’re after a variety of responses from the past four decades, and would love to hear from you.

To accompany your Message of Support*, if you feel comfortable, please also send through a photo of your family and/or your child that you would be happy to share.

*Please only send through your Messages of Support if you agree to your name (eg first name and/or family name) being used along with your message and photo (if provided). This is important so people are aware that they are authentic messages.

We may also be sharing your Messages, and any supplied photos and your name, on our social media during September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (unless you advise us not to).
