Christmas is a time for family. But when a child has cancer, everyday life can revolve around hospital stays, treatment and appointments.
Our respite home, Bradley’s Place, gives families affected by childhood cancer a welcoming place to slow down, enjoy the outdoors and spend precious time together away from the hospital environment.
Your donation helps us continue providing Bradley’s Place, free of charge, giving families the opportunity to rest, reconnect and make memories together.
🏡 A little slice of normality
For Hannah and her family, a stay at Bradley’s Place after months of treatment for her son Koah meant being able to slow down and enjoy time together.
“Having somewhere like Bradley’s Place gave us a little slice of normality and the chance to have a family getaway in a place where we knew Koah could be safe. Being able to breathe in the fresh country air, slow down, and just enjoy being a family without everything revolving around cancer and treatment was so beautiful.”
The family enjoyed walks, visits to the nearby beach and watching Koah explore his surroundings.
Hannah described Bradley’s Place in three words: “peace, freedom and connection”.
🎁 Give something that can't be wrapped 🎁
As Hannah says, “Sometimes the greatest gift you can give isn’t something wrapped under the Christmas tree, but something that makes a lasting difference to a family who needs it most.”
Your gift can help another family affected by childhood cancer enjoy a much-needed break.
