Pepper Mickan saw first-hand how the Childhood Cancer Association supports the whole family during a child’s illness, including counselling and the SIBS program, when her nephew Henry was undergoing treatment for leukaemia.
“When a child receives a diagnosis you feel helpless. Regular donations help the Association provide incredible support services, when you can’t help the families directly,” Pepper says.
“When my nephew was diagnosed with leukaemia it had a ripple effect on our family and friends. My family were able to receive support due to donations made by others."
"Making the regular contributions is a way to pay it forward and support those who receive a devastating diagnosis."
“It is a way to give back to an incredible organisation that has helped to create so many wonderful memories for our extended family.”
