Captain Henry leads out Port Power

Monday 23 July, 2018

8-year-old cancer patient, Henry Mickan, was named Port Power's Captain for the Day on Sunday 22, July.

It was an amazing day - especially as it was the first time in over 50 years, the official captain didn't wear #1 on-field. Instead Skipper Travis Boak handed it over to Henry.

Henry was treated to the experience of a lifetime - one he won’t soon forget. But the impact was much wider, as the PAFC community came together in a show of support to the 400 other local families that we support, just like Henry’s.

We are very honoured to have Travis Boak as a long-time ambassador and our partnership with the Port Adelaide Football Club goes from strength to strength.

Thank you to everyone who donated, or stopped by our merchandise tent, you have truly made a difference and for that we are very grateful.

It's not too late to donate. Game Day fans can show their support by giving generously to help more than 400 local families just like Henry's. Every dollar makes a difference.
