Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Ccam Ty 516X350 E News

September continues to grow in recognition as a time when we come together to champion Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Adelaide shone brightly as local landmarks lit up gold in support, the local media shared our stories and our community partners and supporters accepted our challenge to increase awareness and raise much-needed funds.

The Women's & Children's Hospital created an installation of gold balloons, located within the hospital, where people could take photos and show their support for children with cancer. View Photo Album.

Our goal for September 2018 was to raise $20,000 to help fund home tutoring for children who are too sick to attend school full-time.

The result was a month full of activity, everything from large to small fundraisers being run by businesses, schools and individuals. Every dollar made a difference from staff casual days, receiving donations in lieu of birthday gifts, hosting a donation tin or by buying an Elliot for a sick child.

Every dollar you fundraised and donated helped us exceed our target by raising more than $37,000.

An incredible effort by all...we couldn't do it without you. Thank you.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO GIVE. DONATE NOW.
