City-Bay Fun Run 2024

Join our Childhood Cancer Team in the City-Bay Fun Run on Sunday 15 September and raise vital funds for hundreds of local families battling childhood cancer.
There are so many reasons why people take part in the City-Bay Fun Run. Whatever your reason or excuse is, we need your help to raise $30,000.
Help raise funds for the Childhood Cancer Association by following these steps:
- Join our Team Fundraising Page here.
- Select the "Start Fundraising" button.
- Create an account OR log in to your account to set up your fundraising page for this year's event.
- When setting up your fundraising page, choose the option that best represents you:
Are you fundraising in a team, Yes or No?
If you answer is NO then: choose a name for your fundraising page, select your fundraising target and enter your contact details.
If your answer is YES then:
If you want to start a new team: name your team and set a fundraising target for your team to raise. Then, create an individual fundraising page for yourself, set a personal fundraising target and enter your contact details.
If you want to join an existing team: click on the drop down arrow and select the team you wish to join. Then, create an individual fundraising page for yourself, set a personal fundraising target and enter your contact details. - Once you have created your page, you can then personalise your page with photos and your story.
- Now you're ready to start fundraising!
Ask family, friends, work colleagues etc to sponsor or join your team. All donations will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Using the shortcut links from the left hand side of your fundraising page, it’s easy to share via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and email. - Download the 'Sponsor Me' social media promo kit.
- Don't forget you still need to register for the City-Bay Fun Run at https://my.city-bay.org.au/ to ensure you receive your Race Number Bib.
Reach these fundraising milestones* and be rewarded!
- $100 a pair of glitter gold shoelaces to wear
- $250 a Childhood Cancer cap
- $500 a pair of Childhood Cancer socks
- $1000 a Childhood Cancer water bottle and keyring
* Based on individual fundraising.
* Milestones will not be posted after Wednesday the 4th
of September to allow for shipping time.
Join our Team of Virtual Runners
We understand, not everyone can join us in the City-Bay Fun Run and that's ok, because you can still raise money for kids with cancer by joining our Team of Virtual Runners - raising money from absolutely anywhere.
How do I become a Virtual Runner?
- Follow Steps 1 to 6 above.
- Download the 'Sponsor Me' social media promo kit.
- Start fundraising!

Have you thought about what you’ll be wearing on the day? Our team colours are Cyan (blue), Magenta (pink) and Yellow, perhaps you already have something in your wardrobe?
We also have a range of apparel which can be purchased online, pick the style and size you need and have it delivered straight to your door. Styles and sizes are subject to availability and orders typically arrive within 10-12 business days of being placed. Shop online.
