Three Chicks, One Incredible Journey for Charlie
We'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Megan, Abbie and Angie – affectionately known as the "3 Chicks in Spain" – for their extraordinary fundraising efforts in memory of Charlie Hoile.
In April this year, Megan, Abbie and Angie embarked on a remarkable 312-kilometre journey along the Camino de Santiago.

Driven by a desire to honour Charlie's memory and support other families facing childhood cancer, the trio set themselves an ambitious fundraising goal. Along the way, they shared their experiences, reflected on Charlie's legacy and rallied an entire community behind their cause.
The response has been nothing short of incredible.
Through countless community events, raffles, fundraisers, donations and the unwavering support of family, friends and supporters across South Australia and beyond, Megan, Abbie and Angie raised more than $53,500 for the Childhood Cancer Association.

Their dedication demonstrates the profound impact one family's story can have on an entire community. Every kilometre walked, every event organised and every dollar raised will help ensure children with cancer, and their families, continue to receive the vital support they need throughout their cancer experience.
While the Camino may now be complete, the legacy of this incredible effort will continue to make a difference for many families facing childhood cancer.
On behalf of everyone at the Childhood Cancer Association, and the hundreds of families we support each year, thank you Megan, Abbie and Angie. Your strength, determination and generosity have been truly inspiring.
