Tony & Mark's partner to deliver practical support for local families
The Childhood Cancer Association is proud to announce a new partnership with Tony & Mark's, bringing practical, everyday support to South Australian families facing childhood cancer.
More than a fundraising partnership, this collaboration has been designed to ease some of the financial and emotional pressures experienced by families throughout their child's treatment, while giving the wider community meaningful ways to make a difference.
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, life changes overnight. Hospital appointments, time away from work and rising household expenses quickly become part of everyday life. Access to fresh, nutritious food remains essential during treatment, yet it can become increasingly difficult to afford.
Together, the Childhood Cancer Association and Tony & Mark's are helping to change that.
Every Childhood Cancer Association family with a child undergoing treatment will receive a 25% Tony & Mark's Discount Card, in our Hospital Support Pack, providing ongoing savings on fresh food and everyday grocery purchases throughout treatment.
Cath O'Loughlin, Chief Executive of the Childhood Cancer Association, said partnerships like this help reduce the everyday pressures families face.
"The financial impact of childhood cancer extends well into the family budget. Everyday costs like groceries quickly become another source of stress. This partnership provides practical support that helps families access healthy food while allowing them to focus on treatment and the wellbeing of their child."
The partnership will also create opportunities for the South Australian community to help through collaborative in-store initiatives with the Tony & Mark’s supplier network.
Each month, a featured product will be selected, with a percentage of sales donated to the Childhood Cancer Association. The initiative kicked off in July with Nature’s Delight, helping turn everyday purchases into meaningful support while showcasing the generosity of suppliers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children with cancer, and their families.
Starting this September, for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Tony & Mark’s customers can purchase a specially curated Gold Ribbon Hamper, with $10 from every hamper donated to the Childhood Cancer Association.

The hamper will be launched just in time for Father's Day and will be an ideal Christmas gift leading into December, creating ongoing opportunities for customers to support local children and families throughout the year.
Tony & Mark's is also supporting the Childhood Cancer Association's signature fundraising event, the Gold Ribbon Gala, through several exclusive silent auction experiences, including a private chef dining experience for 10 guests, three months' worth of groceries and gourmet hampers.
Together, these initiatives demonstrate a shared commitment to improving the wellbeing of local families while building greater awareness of childhood cancer across the community.
Every grocery shop, every hamper purchased and every shared conversation helps make a tangible difference for the more than 450 South Australian families supported by the Childhood Cancer Association each year.
We thank Tony & Mark's for partnering with us to deliver practical support where it matters most.
