Seven years of making a difference: The Lott continues its support.

We are delighted to announce that, for the seventh consecutive year, The Lott by SA Lotteries has supported the Childhood Cancer Association, this time with a $100,000 donation, helping us continue to provide vital practical and emotional support to children with cancer, and their families.

The Lott’s continued generosity helps ensure our 30+ critical support services are available to families alongside the medical care their child receives.

The Lott Senior Community Partnerships Manager Liz McPherson said the organisation was proud to continue its support of the Childhood Cancer Association.

“We’re proud to support the Childhood Cancer Association for a seventh consecutive year, helping fund critical services that support more than 450 families each year, from counselling and accommodation through to education and nutritional support during a child’s cancer journey,” she said.

For Childhood Cancer Association Chief Executive Cath O’Loughlin, the longevity of the partnership is a testament to the meaningful difference The Lott is making for children and families affected by cancer.

“Having The Lott by SA Lotteries stand beside us for a seventh consecutive year is incredibly significant. Their generous support helps us provide the practical and emotional assistance families need, ensuring they don’t have to face childhood cancer alone,” Ms O’Loughlin said.

“The impact of this partnership means we can be there for more than 450 families each year, helping bridge the gap between medical treatment and the many challenges families face outside the hospital.”

A childhood cancer diagnosis affects far more than a child’s health. It can disrupt family life, education, work, finances and emotional wellbeing, with parents, siblings and other family members also needing support.

Our role is to help families navigate these challenges and provide practical assistance.

Importantly, we receive no Government funding, meaning partnerships such as this are essential to ensuring we can continue to be there for families when they need us most.

We are incredibly grateful to The Lott, its customers and retailers for their continued support and commitment.
