Coles Distribution Centre raises $20,000 to support children with cancer

We’re incredibly grateful to the team at South Australia’s Coles Distribution Centre for their incredible support of the Childhood Cancer Association, including a wonderful $20,000 donation raised by staff throughout the 2025–26 financial year.

Recently, Adam Sexton, Glenn Van Der Lende, Kerry Skewes and Darren Scott presented our Chief Executive Cath O’Loughlin and Vice-President Adam Oliver with a cheque for $20,000, representing the incredible fundraising efforts of Coles Distribution Centre staff throughout the year.

Staff at the Coles Distribution Centre came together in so many ways to raise funds for children with cancer, and their families. From setting up a marketplace in the foyer and holding Christmas raffles, to a fundraising lunch and their annual Family Day, every contribution made a significant difference.

We were also grateful to be invited to a Coles Town Hall, where our President Chris Hartley shared his personal experience as a parent of a child with cancer, giving staff a greater understanding of what families can face during a child’s cancer journey and the difference their support can make.

The partnership goes beyond fundraising.

Coles Supply Chain also generously provided almost $1,500 worth of products to support tea and coffee mornings on the Oncology Ward at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, as well as supplies for our Relocation Units, which provide accommodation for country families who need to travel to Adelaide while their child receives treatment.
