Corporate Futsal Challenge Cup smashes fundraising target

More than $41,000 has been raised for children with cancer, and their families, through the 2026 Corporate Futsal Challenge Cup.

On Friday, 4th September, Adelaide's building sector came together for an action-packed day of futsal, friendly competition and fundraising - all in support of the Childhood Cancer Association.

Organised by Daniel Rosato, the Corporate Futsal Challenge Cup (now in its 9th year) has continued to grow each year, bringing businesses together for a fun and meaningful way to support children and families facing childhood cancer.

This year, Daniel set an ambitious fundraising target of $40,000. By the time the final whistle blew, that target had been smashed, with more than $41,000 raised to support the work that we do.

And the generosity didn't stop there. SA Power Networks, who finished as worthy runners-up, also dollar-matched their contribution, thanks to the SA Power Networks Employee Foundation, helping make an even greater impact.

On the court, it was Fusco Constructions who took home the 2026 championship trophy. But the real winners are the children and families who will benefit from the funds raised.

Every dollar raised will help us continue providing practical and emotional support to children with cancer, and their families, all free of charge.

We are incredibly grateful to Daniel, every participating business and team, and to everyone who donated or helped in any way.

The Corporate Futsal Challenge Cup is a wonderful example of what can happen when the building community comes together for a cause that matters.

$40,000 was the target. $41,000+ was the result. And the impact will last far beyond the final whistle. 💛
