Services to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital
The Childhood Cancer Association also supports families through a number of services provided to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Our support includes:

A range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the Michael Rice Centre for Haematology and Oncology ward and clinic

Emergency financial and/or transport assistance to families accessed via your hospital Social Worker

Emergency toiletries including sanitary items supplied for use by parents on the ward after unexpected admission
We are very responsive to requests from the hospital and have previously arranged for other essential items as the need arose, such as mobile phone chargers and spare underwear.
