House Rescue transformation

Mix 102.3 set the challenge to Jared and Jess from House Rules to renovate our four accommodation units in Prospect.

These units become a “Home Away from Home” to country and interstate families whose child is undergoing cancer treatment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide.

Accommodation is provided to families from country South Australia, the Northern Territory, and bordering towns of country Victoria and New South Wales.

This support is provided free of charge to the families for as long as it is required.

We are thrilled with how the units turned out and want to express our gratitude to the more than 100 people and 48 businesses that volunteered, sponsored, or donated goods and services to this amazing transformation.

To continue providing this accommodation for families, we need to raise $50,000 every year to meet the demand for this service. Every dollar makes a difference.
