Gold Ribbon Gala highlights

It was an absolute pleasure to host the inaugural Gold Ribbon Gala to a sold-out room of more than 700 supporters.

Together, we raised a phenomenal $382,313 to support kids with cancer.

As our charity does not receive ongoing government funding, we are 100% reliant on donations and support from the community to raise sufficient funds to deliver our services.

The Gold Ribbon Gala is just one of the ways we do this.

For that reason, we are so grateful that more than 700 guests chose to spend their evening with us, to help raise vital funds for local children with cancer, and their families.

From listening to guest speakers, entering the car raffle, buying a mystery bottle of wine, bidding in the live auction and trying their luck in our silent auction, guests had plenty of opportunities to give while enjoying an entertaining evening with emcees Jarrod Walsh and Hayley Pearson.

While the highlight of the night was the phenomenal amount of funds raised to support hundreds of local children with cancer, the entertainment by magician & mentalist Matt Tarrant and Adelaide's own Broadway sensation Philippa Lynas was nothing short of sensational.

With thanks to the amazing generosity of our guests, partners, supporters, donors and volunteers, the Childhood Cancer Association can continue to have a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of families impacted by childhood cancer.

We are so very grateful to everyone who made this event an outstanding success. View the photo album.
