Childhood Cancer Association volunteers and supporters were recognised at a Government House reception on Monday, 2 September. A group of volunteers were awarded for their outstanding contribution over many years, making a real difference in the lives of children with cancer and their families.

12-year-old cancer survivor, Ryan Lane-Ellis, was named 'Boaky's Buddy' and spent the day training with the Port Adelaide Football Club then ran out with the boys in Round 9's clash against the Gold Coast Suns.

To commemorate 10 seasons of Travis Boak being an ambassador for the Childhood Cancer Association, he invited 10 families he's supported over the years to come along to training for an inner sanctum experience. Watch the video.
